Just say the words dark chocolate, sea salt and caramel and odds are you'll have people listening. Add a few blackberries or other great fruit and you have something uniquely special. See our video to watch how easy it is to make. See how to make it in our SPILL video.
Foodie Byte: You can use any berry to add a unique flavor to this candy--blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries. But, if you like your candy with just nuts, you can leave out the fruit without any effect. If you use frozen fruit, just be sure to let it thaw 30 minutes at room temperature and thoroughly drain; do not add juices to this recipe. Because fresh or frozen fruit means you should use it (or freeze it) right away, you can also use chopped dried fruit. Dried cherries, blueberries and cranberries are readily available.
