Ready for Hillary? Super PAC's fundraising jumps 47% in 3 months

Posted online
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may not have formally announced her candidacy for president of the United States, but that hasn't stopped her supporters.

Bloomberg reports a political action committee going by the moniker Ready for Hillary collected $2.5 million in the past three months – 47 percent more than it raised in the first quarter of the year.

The super PAC has collected money from more than 90,000 supporters so far for the former first lady's potential run. Though, Clinton says she is still undecided. A decision is expected later this year.

According to Bloomberg, the super PAC is barred from coordinating with a potential Clinton campaign. Should Clinton run, the super PAC could sell its assets to her campaign – including a database of more than 2.5 million supporters.
