Timber products companies Rayonier and PotlatchDeltic announced plans to combine in an $8.2 billion all-stock deal.
Rayonier CEO Mark McHugh would lead the combined company. The name of the merged business has not yet been disclosed.
Rayonier shareholders would own roughly 54% of the combined company, with PotlatchDeltic investors holding the rest.
