Rapid Robert's

Posted online
An updated appearance will differentiate the newest Rapid Robert’s convenience store from others owned by the local service station company, said Brennan Bagwell of general contractor MSB Inc. Instead of a suspended arch on the building’s exterior, the arch is incorporated in the building’s design, and custom-glazed aluminum tiles and brushed- aluminum accents will differentiate the store from others in the Rapid Robert’s chain. Slone Architects PC is the architect for the 5,600-square-foot store, which will have 16 fueling stations. Engineers are Lee Engineering & Associates LLC, civil; Edelman Engineering Corp., structural; and Crocker Consulting Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The estimated construction cost is $800,000, and Springfield First Community bank is the lender.
