Rams expected to trade QB Bradford to Philly

Posted online
The St. Louis Rams’ 2010 first-round quarterback Sam Bradford is expected to be traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for quarterback Nick Foles, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, citing a high-ranking team official.

ESPN first broke the trade news, according to the Post-Dispatch report. Full terms of the deal were unclear late Tuesday.

If the trade occurs, the Rams would save just under $13 million in base salary. Bradford, the overall No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft, has missed the team’s last 25 regular season games due to two knee operations.
