Racetrack grandstand imploded for Kroenke's LA stadium

Work on St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke's Inglewood, Calif., stadium continues, as an old racetrack grandstand on the development site was imploded Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Hollywood Park's old grandstands were nearly 75 years old.

Now, workers will clear out the site in preparation for a planned December groundbreaking.

The Rams haven't said whether they would move to the stadium, and the team is in a year-to-year lease with the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
