Tokyo-based media company Uzabase signed on to purchase U.S. news publication Quartz.
Founded by two former UBS investment bankers and a technology consultant, Uzabase agreed to pay between $75 million and $110 million. The final price is continent on Quartz’s financial performance.
Uzabase’s deal with Quartz parent Atlantic Media is expected to close within a month.
