Purpose and Belonging

Posted online

“As a company that has been fortunate enough to conduct business in Springfield and southwest Missouri for the past 55 years, we have learned to appreciate and value the cultures of both community and workplace,” says Kim Hogan-Chaffin, president of Hogan Land Title Company. “Contributions to community organizations ranging from the sports team of an employee’s child to local non-profits such as Friends of the Garden, Care to Learn, and Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks help our company stay engaged, and give us a larger purpose.”

Kim Hogan-Chaffin, Keith Chaffin and Bud Hogan, all co-owners of Hogan Land Title Company understand the value of doing business in the local community and believe that the success of the company starts with their employees. “It’s important to create an inviting environment for our employees to work. We try to let all employees know they are valued,” Chaffin says.

Hogan’s Marketing Director, Emily Laurie says, “Often times we have people reach out, asking if Hogan is hiring. We take that as a compliment knowing that our company is well recognized not only for our reputation and years of business, but also for our culture, people and love for our community.”

Title Operations Manager Nathan Bailey says, “As a 27-year veteran of Hogan Land Title, I can say that feeling good about purpose and being free to come to a job that appreciates family and flexibility, not to be micromanaged, and to laugh and feel a part of a company is huge. I feel that being part of a company that values you as a person is one of the many benefits we have at Hogan.”

Hogan Land Title Company is a locally owned and operated company with five locations and a staff of approximately 65 employees. Hogan is a full service title and escrow company that offers a wide range of services including title searches, title insurance, escrow closing services, construction disbursing and 1031 tax exchange services.
