Purina, Anheuser-Busch credit unions merge

The Purina Credit Union is no more following a merger with the Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union. Purina’s financial institution, with 3,800 members and $48 million in assets, is now a division of the much larger A-B institution, along with the American Eagle Credit Union. The merger was completed Jan. 1.

The Anheuser-Busch credit union now boasts 30 locations across the country and nearly 120,000 members with $1.5 billion in assets.

The Purina Credit Union served employees and retirees of several businesses including Nestle Purina PetCare, Energizer Holdings and Post Holdings, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
