South Korean prosecutors are asking for a 12-year prison sentence for Samsung's jailed billionaire heir.
Lee Jae-yong maintained his innocence during a Wednesday appeal over charges of bribing public officials, including former South Korean President Park Geun-hye.
A lower court in August sentenced Lee to five years in prison. A new ruling is expected in February.
