A proposed landfill on the Kansas City border is headed back to the Missouri legislature.
State Rep. Mike Haffner, R-Pleasant Hill, has prefiled a bill that's designed to stop the landfill from being built. He also introduced a version of the bill this spring.
The landfill would be built near a high-end golf course subdivision.
