Heideman Associates Inc. provided engineering services for this industrial park, owned by the Sparta Community Development Organization. The general contractor for Phase I is D & E Plumbing & Heating Inc. The total estimated construction cost is $900,000; the estimated cost of Phase I is $150,000. Heideman Associates performed boundary and topographic surveys and prepared preliminary and final plats and easement documents for the 60-acre site. The development includes 22 lots, a 4,800-linear-foot, eight-inch PVC gravity sewer extension and a 6,300-linear-foot, six-inch PVC water-line extension. Interior streets, access road from Highway 14 and widening of Highway 14 are included, along with storm water collection and erosion and sediment control. Heideman Associates Inc. coordinated with the city of Sparta, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the Missouri Department of Transportation and the Sparta Industrial Development Organization. Phase I access road construction was funded with a $250,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
