General contractor: Rich Kramer Construction

Architect: Warren & Goodin Engineers-Architects PC

Engineers: Warren & Goodin, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing

Estimated cost: $1.3 million

The 14,000-square-foot-addition to Arc of the Ozarks' Jim D. Morris campus in Springfield is 90 percent complete, said D.J. Hill, project manager with general contractor Rich Kramer Construction. The addition will house training rooms, a library resource center and office space. Groundwork is under way for installation of a ramp on the building's west end, and asphalt work was slated to begin Nov. 1. Inside, crews are installing cabinetry, flooring and ceiling tiles in preparation for move-in around Thanksgiving. Hill said once the addition is complete, existing space will be remodeled. The project, which the nonprofit social services entity is funding through a capital campaign, is slated for completion March 1.[[In-content Ad]]
