Lohmeyer-Russell Architects PC is the architect, and engineers are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural and civil. A building permit on file with the city of Springfield lists an estimated construction cost of $4.5 million.
According to project architect Billy Kimmons, the addition will have four floors; SIFE’s existing building has three floors and a small basement. Completion is slated for April.
