Project Profile: Green Circle Shopping Center

Matt O’Reilly’s shopping center will house a new location for his Dynamic Earth outdoor outfitting store, along with other tenants such as Mama Jean’s Natural Foods and San Francisco Oven. The $3.3 million, 18,000-square-foot center is designed by HufftProjects LLC of Prairie Village, Kan. MSB Construction is the general contractor on the project. The engineers are Genesis Design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Silverhill Co. LLC, structural; and Olsson & Associates, civil. EMSI is the sustainability consultant for the project, which O’Reilly said will feature environmentally friendly techniques including a rooftop garden and rainwater collection system. He said he is aiming for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design platinum certification for Green Circle, which should be complete in February 2008.[[In-content Ad]]
