Missouri Supermarket Builders is the general contractor for renovations to Fremont Center for Ataractic Investment Co. LLC, a group led by R.B. Murray Co. Vice President Rob Murray. The architect is Bates & Associates, and engineers are Miller Engineering PC, structural; and Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Murray told SBJ in March that the project is a seven-figure remodel of the retail center. A building permit on file with the city of Springfield lists the estimated project cost at $820,000. The project will give Fremont Center, built in 1979, an exterior with stone and rock, and each store in the center will have a unique storefront. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. [[In-content Ad]]
