A third apartment building is scheduled for completion in December at Miller-O'Reilly Co.'s Eko Park Apartments, where two apartment buildings and a clubhouse already have been finished for Phase I, at an estimated cost of $8.5 million, according to past SBJ coverage. The third apartment building will have roughly 25,000 square feet with 24 apartments that will either have one bedroom and one bath, or two bedrooms and two baths apiece. Green features used in the existing buildings - high-efficiency mechanical systems, renewable construction materials, drought-resistant landscaping, environmentally friendly paints and motion-sensor lighting - will be used for this project as well. A fourth apartment building already is under way, and the complex, which will have a total of five apartment buildings, is slated for completion in spring 2010.
