Portions of the new CoxHealth Surgery Center will be put to use in mid-November CoxHealth spokeswoman Stacy Fender said via e-mail. More than half of the 62,000-square-foot building will house CoxHealth's Diabetes Center and offices for internal medicine and ear, nose and throat physicians. Another 17,000 square feet is earmarked for nonorthopedic outpatient surgeries, and 9,000 square feet will be used for common areas. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
