The two-story, 28,000-square-foot addition to Skaggs Regional Medical Center's Branson Heart Center is substantially enclosed, with roofing and glazing activities nearly finished, according to Justin Branham, project manager with general contractor Branco Enterprises. The heart center's building is leased from Mike Dais and Charles Rees. The project is financed by Ozark Mountain Bank. Interior framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-in activities are under way on the addition's first and second floors. Renovations to the existing building and construction of the tie-in between the old and new building areas, as well as site paving and curb and gutter work, are slated to start this month. Project completion is slated for late this year. The expansion will allow for growth of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services and provide room for Skaggs Diabetes and Endocrinology Care Clinic and Surgical Associates, now located across the street.[[In-content Ad]]
