Wet weather has slowed construction a bit for the expansion of Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Nixa, but Chad Crouch of general contractor Flintco Inc. said the project is on track for completion Dec. 20. Crews are finishing the exterior edifice and beginning exterior concrete work, Crouch said. Inside, crews are hanging sheet-rock and finishing up mechanical work. The church's 16,940-square-foot addition will house a 400-seat sanctuary, a nursery and a 4,000-square-foot unfinished balcony.
