The staff and volunteers who worked on the Gillioz Theatre restoration had a chance to relax and celebrate Oct. 11 at the hardhat party.
Above right, architect Craig Hacker of Butler, Rosenbury & Partners holds a piece of the building’s old décor, a gift for Hacker’s work as architect on the renovation project.
Above left, Carol Anne Costabile-Heming and Nancy Dornan celebrate the theater’s 80th birthday, which coincided with the party. Dornan is president of the theater’s board of directors. Costabile-Heming is associate dean of the Missouri State University College of Arts & Letters and is heading up Encore 2006, a series of events running through Oct. 22 commemorating the reopening of the historic facility.[[In-content Ad]]
