Professors visit Drury from partner school in China

Ten professors from Tsinghua – China’s leading technological university – will visit Drury Aug. 7–12. The visit includes a reception at Drury President John Sellars’ home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The visitors will present a certificate honoring Drury’s support for the Tsinghua University English Summer Camp, where Drury faculty and students have taught for two years.

Drury has been a host to three visiting faculty members from Tsinghua since 1999. The school’s partnership with Tsinghua has included several study abroad programs to China.

While in the United States, the group of professors also plans to visit the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and Harvard University in Massachusetts.
