Primrose Healthcare Services and Cox Health Systems announced Jan. 29 their plans to provide comprehensive health care services to three Lebanon companies.
DT Industries Inc., The Durham Company and Justice Furniture and Bedding Manufacturing Companies have contracted with Primrose for health care services, according to a news release from Cox and Primrose.
The three companies have added the following programs to complement their employee health plans:
?HealthSense. A preventive health care program that provides on-site fitness and wellness screenings for businesses, HealthSense services include blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings, as well as health risk appraisals, the release stated.
Screening and appraisal results are sent to the employee and the employee's physician. If tests show "critical" values, the employee and his physician are both notified by phone. The program also focuses on educating employees about the benefits of physical and emotional health.
?Healthy Starts. An employee pregnancy program that begins with pre-conception care and extends to post-delivery care, Healthy Starts offer pre-conception classes, free pregnancy testing, free health information, free prenatal vitamins, education classes and newborn follow-up care.
By utilizing a path of care throughout a pregnancy, the release stated, a company can monitor cost and quality of care provided. For an uncomplicated pregnancy, an employer pays one amount that includes the prenatal care, physician and hospital costs and various services.
