Primary election deadlines near

Posted online
Those who haven't registered for the Aug. 3 primary election have until July 7 to do so, according to a Greene County clerk news release.

The deadline applies to both those who plan to vote at a polling place and those who will vote via absentee ballot.

Voter registration information can be found at the Greene County clerk's Web site.

Absentee ballots can be voted in person at the clerk's office, room 113 of the Greene County Courthouse, between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 2.

Absentee ballots by mail must be received by the clerk's office no later than 5 p.m. July 28. Mailed ballots must be signed and notarized.[[In-content Ad]]
