President Trump goes after a favorite target, Amazon

President Donald Trump took to Twitter again, criticizing Amazon.com for certain taxing jurisdictions favorable to the online retailer.

According to U.S. News & World Report, Trump’s tweet read: “I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!”

Next week in Nixa and Ozark, residents will vote on a potential use tax to assess the same tax rates to online purchases that brick and mortar stores assess.
