Steve Proffitt, co-founder of The Potter's House Inc., died last week.
Proffitt, 67, died Oct. 6 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, according to his obituary posted to the website of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Thanks for writing about him and this ministry. He did many amazing things for the Springfield community with the Potter's House.
I went to the funeral. There were hundreds of people there. Two hours long, plus 5-hours of viewing. Great speeches!
