Postal Service hopes Harry Potter stamps spell revenue

The U.S. Postal Service plans to print 5 million 20-stamp booklets featured one of 20 Harry Potter-themed stamps.

The USPS bypassed a decision by the Citizen's Stamp Advisory Committee, a committe that evaluates the merits of stamp proposals, in favor of a commercial line of stamps that could boster revenue, according to NPR.

Complaints by the committee also pointed to the fact the Harry Potter series originates from the United Kingdom, not the United States.
