Portuguese manufacturer to add 110 jobs in KC

Portuguese plastics manufacturer Logoplaste is investing $35 million into its Kansas City facility, which will help it create 110 jobs over the next five years, The Kansas City Star reports, citing an announcement from Gov. Jay Nixon’s office.

The company plans to begin recruiting for the new jobs – which will include managers, technicians and manufacturers – next year.  

The investments and new jobs are designed to make Kansas City the site of Logoplaste’s new manufacturing and distribution hub in the U.S., according to the governor’s office.
