A popular resort in central Oregon is shutting down at the end of the summer.
Kah-Nee-Ta Resort & Spa filed a notice with the state indicating it would lay off 146 employees starting Sept. 5.
The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs purchased the hot springs and surrounding property in 1959 and first opened a resort there in the mid-1960s.
