Pool Art Center at Drury University

Drury University settled into the new Pool Art Center early this year. The center, an approximately $1 million project, was financed by a campaign for the arts. The naming gift for the center was given to Earl Pool, who provided support for the project in honor of his mother and his sister. His sister, Mary Jane Pool, is a Drury alumna and a member of the school's board of trustees. According to Tristan Davies, Drury's director of university communications, the center at 940 N. Clay houses studios, departmental offices, a photography studio and a gallery.
