Poll: Majority of Americans now happy with Obama economy

The margin is pretty slim, but right now it looks like most Americans see the economic glass as half full.
 
According to a poll conducted by CNN/ORC, 52 percent of respondents rated the U.S. economy as somewhat or very good, compared to 48 percent who view it as very or somewhat poor. Two-thirds reported they think the economy will continue to strengthen.
 
The CNN report attributes the confidence to an improving job market, lower gasoline prices and an increase in gross domestic product.
