Minneapolis police found recording devices in rooms at the Hyatt Regency hotel in the downtown area of the Minnesota city.
Police spokesman John Elder said it's not yet known if the devices recorded guests. He also said it does not appear that hotel staff were involved.
Law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation into the incident.
