Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union filed suit yesterday seeking to block Missouri's new restrictive law on abortions.
The suit alleges the bill, signed in May by Gov. Mike Parson, is unconstitutional because it prevents "the vast majority of patients from obtaining the constitutionally protected medical care they seek."
Parson and Attorney General Eric Schmitt are among the defendants named in the lawsuit.
