Planet Fitness, known for its $10-a-month membership plan, is hiking its monthly fee for the first time in 26 years.
The company's classic membership fee will increase to $15 from $10 for new members starting this summer.
Planet Fitness is not immediately raising the price of its $25-a-month Black Card membership tier, which offers access to more locations and perks.
