Plan to build $130M casino unveiled for southeast Kan.

Representatives of Castle Rock Casino Resort Monday announced plans to build a Las Vegas-style casino resort in Cherokee County, Kan., in what would be the state’s fourth casino.

The plan calls for an investment of $130 million to build the casino, 200-room hotel, several restaurants, sports bar and meeting space, according to KSN.com.

Developers also expect to build a 5,000-6,000-seat entertainment arena that could become home to a professional hockey franchise.
