Pinterest is paying $89.5 million to cancel a lease on new San Francisco offices.
Pinterest, which will retain its current San Francisco headquarters and offices, had planned to lease an additional 490,000 square feet of office space in the city.
“As we analyze how our workplace will change in a post-COVID world, we are specifically rethinking where future employees could be based,” said Todd Morgenfeld, head of business operations for Pinterest.
