Springfield Business Journal on Sept. 26 recognized 14 businesspeople during the 2025 Trusted Advisers event.

The awards ceremony at The Old Glass Place included the Legacy Adviser honor for Robert J. Helm of Elliott, Robinson & Co. LLP.

“You can't do these things on your own," Helm said when accepting the award at the event. "When you have the honor and the privilege of being recognized for something like this, you can't forget all the people that came alongside you and helped you do this."

The event's keynote address was delivered by Brian Hammons, president, CEO and co-owner of Stockton-based Hammons Products Co.

"For each of you, there are clients who need your advice now more than ever," Hammons said. "All of you have several miles ahead of significance."
