Phoenix Home Care wins 2nd straight Dynamic Dozen

Phoenix Home Care Inc. yesterday took home its second straight win for Springfield Business Journal’s Dynamic Dozen awards.

The 2,759-employee home health care company posted 2015 revenue of $50.2 million and 2013-15 revenue growth of 87 percent.

The 12 fastest-growing companies in southwest Missouri were chosen through a numbers-based formula awarding points for both revenue and percentage growth. Eligible companies must have at least $500,000 in revenue and be located within a 50-mile radius of Springfield.

Roughly 240 people attended the Dynamic Dozen event held at The Old Glass Place downtown.

Rounding out the Dynamic Dozen were:

    •    No. 3: Haven Healthcare LLC;
    •    No. 4: OakStar Bank;
    •    No. 5: Citizens Memorial Healthcare;
    •    No. 6: JMark Business Solutions Inc.;
    •    No. 7: Penmac Staffing Services Inc.;
    •    No. 8: MaMa Jean’s Natural Foods Market LLC;
    •    No. 9: Pinnacle Sign Group Inc.;
    •    No. 10: Burgess Aircraft Management LLC;
    •    No. 11: S&H Farm Supply Inc.; and
    •    No. 12: HealthcareFirst Inc.

All About Trees LLC received the Judge’s Choice award, and five individual honors were presented:
    •    Top Local Executive: Bonnie Keller, president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks Inc. and The Tooth Truck Inc.
    •    Top Local Financial Executive: Michelle Heidt, vice president and chief financial officer for Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co.;
    •    Top Local Sales/Marketing Professional: Gwen Beebe, vice president of business development and regional operations for Phoenix Home Care;
    •    Top Local Human Resources Professional: Jill Wiggins, career center director for Missouri State University; and
    •    Employee of the Year: Allison Ledford, superintendent clerical assistant and business office receptionist for Nixa Public Schools.
