Phoenix Home Care ranks No. 1 on SBJ's Dynamic Dozen

Phoenix Home Care Inc. took home top honors last night at Springfield Business Journal’s Dynamic Dozen event.

Around 215 people attended the ceremony at DoubleTree Hotel on North Glenstone Avenue. Honorees were ranked through a numbers-based formula that awards points for both revenue and percentage growth year to year 2012-14.

To take home the No. 1 award, Phoenix posted 2014 revenue of $37.6 million, a 159 percent increase compared to 2012 revenue of $14.5 million.

  6. S&H Farm Supply Inc., $71.7 million, 34 percent;
  7. Corporate Business Systems Inc., $14.2 million, 40 percent
  8. Red Monkey Foods, $17.5 million, 54 percent
  9. Burgess Aircraft Management LLC, dba OzAir Charter Service, $4.9 million, 70 percent
  10. Citizens Memorial Healthcare, $355.9 million, 20 percent
  11. Marlin Network Inc., $15.2 million, 34 percent
  12. Paragon Architecture Inc., $2.1 million, 179 percent
Determined by an independent panel of judges, individual honors were awarded to:
  • Top Local Executive Mark McFatridge, president and CEO of Metropolitan National Bank;
  • Top Local Financial Officer Leah Ann Iaguessa, chief financial officer for Penmac Staffing Services Inc.;
  • Top Local Sales/Marketing Professional Zac Rantz, chief communication officer for Nixa Public Schools;
  • Top Local Human Resources Professional Christopher Bos, director of human resources for Mercy Hospital Springfield; and
  • Employee of the Year Martin Gugel, assistant director of Public Works for the city of Springfield.
New to the Dynamic Dozen event, JMark Business Solutions Inc. won the Judge’s Choice Award for innovative growth, civic awareness and philanthropic efforts communitywide.[[In-content Ad]]
