Toronto-based Pharma Medica Research Inc. is planning a $30.8 million investment in St. Charles, and should it follow through, the company is slated to receive $4.2 million in state tax incentives, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
The tax breaks would come from the Quality Jobs program through the Missouri Department of Economic development based on Pharma’ plans to create 320 jobs.
The company wants to expand its drug trial operations and rehabilitate a St. Charles building that previously was home to a clinical research firm.
