A Care2 petition is calling on Nike, Ford and other brands to cut ties with the NFL over its decision to ban national anthem kneeling protests.
The petition this morning had more than 8,000 signatures with a goal of 10,000.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday announced teams would be fined if their players kneel during the national anthem in future games.
