Tech billionaire Peter Thiel is exiting Facebook parent company Meta's board.
Thiel, one of the longest-serving board members of Meta, wants to focus on influencing November’s midterm elections, a person familiar with the matter told The New York Times. He reportedly is backing candidates who support former President Donald Trump's agenda.
Thiel has become one of the Republican’s Party’s largest donors over the past year.
