Online pet products retailer Chewy announced plans to hire more than 1,200 people in Missouri.
The company is slated to open an 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Belton, near Kansas City.
“Chewy Inc.’s decision to expand in Belton and create new jobs for Missouri families is a testament to our ongoing business strengths even as we work to recover from COVID-19,” Gov. Mike Parson said.
