Artificial intelligence search company Perplexity has made a surprise offer for Google’s Chrome browser.
The offer is for $34.5 billion.
Google, which declined to comment which reached by CNN, last year was hit with a landmark ruling that its search business had violated U.S. antitrust law. The Justice Department has suggested the sale of the Chrome browser as a remedy, but Google intends to appeal.
