PepsiCo tops forecasts

PepsiCo Inc. today reported third-quarter earnings of $1.99 billion.

On a per-share basis, that came to $1.37, above expectations of $1.32 per share.

Revenue also topped forecasts at $16.03 billion. Analysts expected $15.89 billion.
