PepsiCo reported better-than-expected third-quarter earnings and revenue.
The company's adjusted earnings per share were $1.59, above the $1.57 analysts expected. Revenue of $16.49 billion beat forecasts of $16.36 billion.
The earnings report was delivered on PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi's last day. She's succeeded by Ramon Laguarta, global operations chief.
