PepsiCo is investing $585 million to increase its stake in energy drink maker Celsius Holdings.
The soda company bought 5% of Celsius' preferred stock, bringing its stake in the business up to 11%, after conversion.
The agreement includes a clause through which Alani Nu, Celsius' health and wellness drinks brand, will move into PepsiCo's distribution system in the U.S. and Canada.
