PepsiCo reported a sharp drop in second-quarter profits.
Second-quarter net income attributable to the company came in at $1.26 billion, or 92 cents per share. That's down from $3.08 billion, or $2.23 per share, in the same quarter last year.
A CNBC report cited softer demand for the company's products, as well as restructuring and impairment charges.
