Randal L. Saul has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of Commerce Bank's investment management group. Saul has more than 17 years of trust and investment experience, most recently serving as vice president and business development officer for Commerce Bank's southwest Missouri region. His background also includes serving as trust and investment officer with regional banks in Springfield, Ill., and Cape Girardeau, Mo.
James R. Bracht has been appointed market executive and senior vice president in NationsBank's private client group in Springfield. In this role, Bracht will be responsible for managing a group of professionals who deliver a wide range of financial services to high-net-worth individuals in the Springfield and southwest Missouri area. Bracht previously held the position of NationsBank regional executive of West Missouri, a region which encompasses 16 banks.
M. Elise Crain has been elected a member of the board of directors of Metropolitan National Bank. Crain is marketing manager of Increte of the Ozarks, an affiliate of Concrete Company of Springfield. She has many years of experience as a construction professional and will bring that industry knowledge to the bank. Crain is active on several other boards and in many clubs.
Jim Ward has joined Empire Bank as a senior loan review officer. Ward is responsible for adherence to legal and regulatory requirements; assessing credit quality; maintaining compliance with bank loan policies; and identification of credit-management deficiencies. He has previous experience with the office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Missouri Division of Finance.
McGuire Mortgage has announced two additions to its lending team. Don Hancock, formerly of American General Finance, and Kent Lammers, formerly of Chase Financial, have joined the company. Hancock and Lammers bring a total of 23 years of lending experience to McGuire Mortgage.
