Ann E. Dryden has accepted the position of director of public relations at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. Dryden has several years of experience in management, public relations and marketing. She graduated from SMSU with a master's degree in education in communications and previously served as an adjuct professor at both SMSU and Drury.
Richard C. Aiken, MD, PhD, has joined Lakeland Regional Hospital as medical director. Aiken, a psychiatrist, will supervise the hospital's medical staff and oversee all aspects of patient care. In addition, he will assist in the formation of policies and the hospital's accreditation maintenance with both federal and state agencies.
